Gail Fraser's three dimensional mixed media and installation works is reflected by ongoing processes of exploring, collecting, investigating, articulating, and representing natural forms. Her goal is to elevate an awareness of ecological issues which threaten the balance and harmony between culture and nature. At the same time, Ms. Fraser promotes a reverence for the physical world as a key element in the development of the psychological and physiological balance so necessary in our time. She bridges the gap between seemingly opposed natural and constructed forms.

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Gail Fraser moved with her family to Southern California as a small child. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions in galleries, museums, and cultural and art centers throughout the Los Angeles and surrounding areas for the past ten years. These exhibitions include her Master of Fine Arts solo exhibition at the California State University Long Beach Design Gallery where she received her M.F.A. degree in 2001.
